Product fit
What is Mintgrove?
Mintgrove helps native mobile apps sell and manage group subscriptions on the web. It provides group checkout and a buyer portal for billing and seat management.
Who is Mintgrove for?
Mintgrove is for native mobile apps that want to sell subscriptions to teams, families, workplaces, care providers, schools, or other groups.
How is Mintgrove different from platform-managed subscription tools?
Mintgrove is built for group subscriptions in native mobile apps. Group buyers can manage billing and seats in one place, while your app keeps its customer relationship and mobile experience.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes. Group subscriptions start at five seats.
Billing and pricing
How does Mintgrove pricing work?
Your Mintgrove plan includes a monthly platform fee and revenue share on group subscription revenue managed through Mintgrove. Pricing explains the available plans and what each includes.
Who is the Merchant of Record?
Your app is the Merchant of Record. Buyers purchase a group subscription for your app through Mintgrove checkout, while your app remains the seller.
Does Mintgrove use in-app purchases?
No. Mintgrove handles group subscriptions as web payments, not in-app purchases. Your app needs a Stripe account to use Mintgrove.
Is revenue share charged on the full subscription amount?
Revenue share applies to group subscription revenue, in addition to the monthly platform fee.
What payment methods are supported?
Mintgrove is designed to work with your existing payment provider. Supported setup details are available during the waitlist process.
What pricing and billing options can we offer?
You can choose a single price or tiered pricing, then select the terms you want to offer: weekly, monthly, annual, or lifetime.
What if I go over my seat limit?
Active seats are the people with access through a group subscription at a given time.
Can I switch plans?
Plan changes can be reviewed as your group subscription needs change.
Is there an annual option?
Annual contract availability depends on the selected plan; contact us to discuss fit.
Access and seat management
What counts as an active seat?
A seat is active when a buyer organization administrator assigns a member access. Invited but unaccepted seats, and removed seats, do not count.
I bought a group subscription. Where do I manage billing and seats?
The buyer organization administrator manages billing and seats in the Mintgrove buyer portal.
I’m a group member and need help with access. What should I do?
Ask the buyer organization administrator who manages your group’s seats. For help with the app itself, contact the app.
How do I cancel?
A buyer organization administrator can sign in and go to Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period. Seats remain active until the renewal date, then access is removed. There is no cancellation fee or mid-term refund or credit.
